References to the Service in these Terms of Use include the Website, whether accessed through a browser or as a Progressive Web Application (PWA).

When another organisation, such as an NHS trust, insurer or clinic adds the patient to the service, the trust, insurer or clinic is the data controller. We collect your personal data to provide and improve our services, comply with legal obligations, conduct marketing communications (with your consent), support direct care, and support authorised audit, service evaluation, registry activity, research, post-market surveillance, and clinical trial activity. Depending on the context, this may also include producing or licensing pseudonymised or aggregated reporting, analytics, and evidence outputs for healthcare and life sciences organisations where permitted by law, contract, ethics approvals, and applicable governance requirements. The legal bases for processing your data include your consent, performance of a contract, legal obligations, and legitimate interests.

The Service

The Service allows you to register a Patient-Watch account, offering features tailored to doctors and patients. Patients can manage profiles, diaries, pain scores, and receive communications. Doctors can manage profiles, search patients, and receive notifications based on patient activity.

Access to your medical record may include the option to export or print data. You are responsible for securely handling exported data, and we are not liable for any disclosure resulting from such actions.

Accessing the Service

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service, and we may suspend, withdraw, or change it without notice. You are responsible for ensuring access and compliance with these Terms of Use.

Prohibited Uses

Clinical Questionnaires & Licensing

All clinical questionnaires and outcome measures available on Patient Watch are provided free of charge. We do not charge users for access to, or use of, any questionnaire content. Our subscription fees cover only platform services: secure data storage, automated reminders, analytics dashboards, and technical support. This non-commercial model relates to questionnaire and instrument licensing only. It does not, by itself, prevent authorised use of the platform for commercial healthcare activity, sponsored research, clinical trials, or the governed disclosure or licensing of pseudonymised or aggregated outputs. Limitations of Liability

Please read this section carefully, as it outlines our liability limits regarding your use of the Service. Exceptions include liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence or fraud.

Subject to these exceptions, we are not liable for various types of loss or damage, and our total liability is limited to £100.

We are not responsible for viruses or technologically harmful material. If you are a consumer, use the Service for domestic and private purposes only.
